Well, Debbie is out of town, so I headed over to CTHD (Central Texas Harley Davidson) to meet up with some folks from our chapter, and about 300 other close friends for the bi-monthly COC&I (Confederation Of Clubs & Independents) meeting. CTHD was nice enough to host us and provide free lunch to boot, so naturally we all showed up. I decided to have a light lunch, so I only had one sausage wrap. It was a good thing too, as I ended up going out to lunch with the Don and Susan Potter and Steve and Idolina Meeks, but more about that later. There was even entertainment before and after the meeting, by a nice young man playing guitar and singing. I didn’t get his card, or find out who he was, but he had Leland stamped into his nice leather guitar strap. I hope we get to hear him again, he was very good. The meeting started punctually on Texas time, and we heard lots of good stuff about the legislature, and we even got some training on how to doctor up a puncture wound. No it’s not what you’re thinking, it was more like if you get into an accident and get punctured by a broke off mirror or something. Moving right along, we have a new newsletter editor, Mustang, with Blackett Arms MC, and we appreciate her stepping up for this important job. On another note, the current COC&I chaplain TAP (Thomas Palmer) ad decided to step down as he is moving up north to be nearer to family. We will miss him, but I am sure his role will be ably filled by his selected replacement Chaplain Frank with HonorBound MM. Well, that’s about all I have to say about this meeting, next up will be a short post about lunch. Yum! Enjoy the photos.
