We headed out to Earnie’s on the Lake this afternoon for a medical benefit put on by Tornados MC for three of their members. Everything was pretty much in full swing when we arrived, but we still managed to have a great time. They had a raffle, arm wrestling, DJ and even some live tunes performed by one fellow that was really good. He only performed a few song, while the DJ took a break, but I was really impressed. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the photos;
Our second stop today was at th Pretorians MC ZFG Fest down in Austin. As you will see from the photos, there was lots of entertainment, including a bike wash, a form of poker that involved throwing these steel cut out emblems of the Pretorian helmet, and last but not least the paint ball derby, where a Pretorian member attempts to evade a paint ball firing assailant. Oh, my, can you spell WELT? Enjoy,
Our first stop today was up in Leander for the funeral of a friend of the Guardians of Grace chapter of McKinney Texas. The services held at Davis Cemetery. We were invited to attend in support of the family and so we went, along with a few other members of our New Life Riders chapter. I took a few photos, and some video of the music to share. It was an excellent service for a great man. Cory, you will be missed.
Here are the photos.
The last few photos are of a state memorial from 1839 that I found interesting.
A friend sent me a link to this story about three girl triples, their struggle growing up, and how they overcame adversity. The neat thing is the the Confederation of Clubs in Las Vegas has a part in the story. And, the other neat thing about the story is they show the Bible twice, and even more neatness, that Las Vegas attorney is in the video too. Sooo Cool!! Enjoy!
Today was day two of this weeks event at Bentwood Texas in Georgetown. Today we had the BBQ judging and various live auctions. Plus the drawing for the Veterans Collective bike giveaway. As you will see from the photos, the winner was very happy to receive the bike. There was extra BBQ left over from the judging, so most everyone got to try some. Debbie was invited to be a judge, so that was a good experience for her. The gave her a little training so that she didn’t write a book on each contestants BBQ she tested. Overall, this was a very fun day. A bit hot, but somehow not as hot as yesterday. I managed to make it though without falling asleep in a chair. The final event of the day was the weeny bite, but since we only had one contestant, somehow they managed to win. It was all in good fun. Enjoy the photos;
