After lunch, Debbie returned from the Wells Branch Garage Sale where she was a seller, and we headed out to the Shalah Dame benefit at the Roadhouse. They were serving fried fish plates, and since I had already eaten, Debbie got to have her lunch while we socialized a bit. After lunch we encountered a knife vendor, and were immediately enthralled with the quality of his knifes. I ended up buying one, and then of course Debbie had to have one too. Another knife to add to my collection!
On my way back from Bartlett today, I stopped in at the benefit for Greg DeLa Cruz at the Goal Post, and to have some lunch as well. They were serving taco plates, and they were very good. I didn’t hang around long, but I did get to say hello to a couple of the bikers in attendance, l then I headed home to eat my taco plate relaxing in front of the TV.
The March COC&I meeting was today up at the Bentwood Texas Event center in Georgetown. We get together every couple of months to distribute information about political issues that are important to our motorcycle community. Today we heard from several people, and the talks were very interesting. Lots of opportunities coming up to talk to our legislators. here is the web site; http://txcocinews.org/region-1—central-texas.html
Debbie and I drove out to The Post Tavern in Cedar Park today for the Chupacabras MC anniversary party. Though some rain was expected, the sprinkles held off until late afternoon. We enjoyed out free “water”, and greatly enjoyed our conversations. It is so nice to get together with friends. The had a wonderful cake, chocolate on chocolate with shredded chocolate. How can you go wrong with that. We hung around for a couple of hours, then headed home. Another successful party.
