Well, Debbie and I are not going to be elected chapter officers for 2015, so we hosted the last officer’s meeting of 2014. Somehow I managed to forget to take any pictures during the meeting, but the meeting was a success non-the-less. We have some new officers and it should be a great year. I did get a few pics of the two motorcycles leaving.
We had a good group at the Christian Unity meting this month. Our main topic was the review of how the NCOM Region 2 meting went, and it went well indeed. We received good donations from around the state, so all the expenses were covered, and there is even some left over to help provide hospitality at the starting point of Legislative day on January 26th 2015. I hope you are planning to be there, I know I am. Watch for details early in January. As usual, Frank started a discussion about verses in the Bible, this month it was on Hebrews 13:12-18, which encourages us to be good servants in the face of opposition.
Debbie and I and several people from our New Life Riders went to the Austin Toy Run that provides toys for the children at Helping Hand Home in Austin. Debbie and I decided to start at the destination on 38 1/2 street since we were in the car. We arrived just after noon, but still in time to catch the hundreds of bikes as they arrived. It was quite a show.
Next up for this post is the set of photos from Don and Susan. They went out to Texas Mist where all the bikes dropped off toys and formed up for the escorted ride to the home. I will make a separate post for my photos, since there are so many.
All of these pictures are copyright Don Potter, even though they have my copyright stamp on them.
