We headed out North to the TIME OUT SPORTS BAR in Liberty Hill this afternoon for the Heathens MC Anniversary party and Benefit forKarl’s medical expenses. It was nice when we headed out, in the mid 80s, but shortly after we arrived, the sky opened up and it poured for about an hour. I guess if I had checked the weather radar, I would have seen it coming, but for me it was a surprise. The good news, is that the rain held the temperatures down in the 70s, and we had a couple of groups of hardy bikers come in through the rain. There is just no stopping a party and benefit. We saved out appetites for the food plates they were planning to serve, and because of the rain, lunch got off to a slower start than planned, but it was definitely worth the wait. We were served boneless smoked chicken with a side of potato salad, and ranch style beans, plus all the BBQ sauce, onions and jalapeños we could handle on the side. Yummy stuff I’m telling you!
