We had our first COC&I meeting this year at the Roadhouse today. Attendance might have been a little light because of the weather. We had sprinkles on and off. But we had a full slate of speakers, from our usual MiniMe and Woody, to Christopher Ward who is running for Representative District 52, Mike Sweeney who is running for Congress, and last but certainly not least McKinley Melancon who is running for Judge of County Court at Law 5. This was definitely a good meeting, and Oh yes, we had a lawyer speak obout Family Law. Everyone stayed around after the meeting so we could talk and ask questions. It was great.
