Don’t worry, this has nothing to do with politics.
When we are born into this world, we are given a certain number of years to do with as we please. Some of the things we choose to do can shorten those years, and some can lengthen them, but we will all eventually reach the point where we wonder how many moments we have left. Personally I have lived for 66 years so far, and I have certainly seen some of those years go by quickly. Especially the more recent ones seem to go by very quickly. I think as we approach the, uh, lets say later years, we develop an internal sense that we need to start using our moments rightly.
Eph 5:15-16 “So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days.”
That last part about evil days was written 2000 years ago, but we can still see today that our society is changing, and not for the better. So perhaps this is still an especially good time to consider what we do, and make the most of the time we have. I for one would like to continue to enjoy the community we have built for years to come, but to do that I see that I must use my time wisely. How about you?
