We had out Christian Unity meeting this evening at the usual location, on the usual night (every second Tuesday of the month at 7pm). We had a good group, and we discussed the Christian Unity Rally coming up on April 29th at Hardtails in Georgetown from 1pm to 6pm. Brisket plates will be sold to raise additional funds for Shield of Faith that is being used exclusively to help the families that are struggling to recover from the tragedy in Waco on May 17th of last year. So far over $40,000 has been donated to help about 100 families with food, housing and utility expenses. Unfortunately it isn’t over yet, and won’t be over for a long time, so additional funds are needed. Be sure to come out to support this worthy cause. More details will be distributed as they become available.
