There were several events going on today, but we chose to go the our CMA Run for the Son ride to Fredericksburg. We have done this for the last several years on this the first Saturday in May. We meet on the lawn outside the Fredericksburg library where the is lots of shade. Run for the Son is CMA’s only fund raiser, and it raises moneys to support three overseas missions and CMA’s home mission to spread the Gospel in the US. We heard at the event that our chapter raised over $5000 this year.
