Second stop today was the Wells Branch community center and park where the festival was taking place. I could have walked, but I had hoped to park a little closer than my house. I was fortunate and did find a parking place only about a block away from the park. As you might imagine, there were lots of people and many children, with various things to entertain them. The bungy jumping thingie was very popular with long lines and the corresponding wait to be able to get on it. The good news, is there was no cost to the games, so all you had to pay was time 🙂
I walked around for a while, my goal was to sort of document all the stuff that was there and show everyone having fun. I found myself taking pictures of several children, so to be prudent, I always talked to their parent so I could give them a card so they could see their children’s photos. Nobody seemed to mind, and I passed out a lot of cards. If you happen to be one of those parents, feel free to contact me for a larger image than is posted here if you want to get a print made. I also found this cute little older couple sitting in front of one of the buildings. They were all decked out in their 4th of July outfits, so I made them pose for me. I think their picture came out really nice. Anyway, enough words from me, here are the pictures;
