One of our activities early in the year is a memorial run in remembrance of  our in New Life Riders that have gone on to be with Jesus. This year we rode (yes I said RODE!) up to Florence to the Veterans Memorial park there for a time of remembrance and picture taking of course. Then it was off to the Mano Mexican restaurant down the street. The food was really good, and the service was great. The restaurant itself is kind of smallish, but they managed to put enough tables together to seat our 16 hungry biker (and friends). We will definitely be going back there on a future ride. The run today actually include several stops, but Debbie and i being wimps decided to head home after lunch. After everyone else headed off, we headed down 195 to Hog Alley to visit some friends on the way home. While we were there, Frank and his brothers from Honor Bound came in and mentioned that Woody was over at a birthday party at Hardtails next door. So, we walked over there and of course Debbie and Woody had to ‘clown” it up. Finally, after a soda, we head down IH35 to home for a much needed nap 🙂
