Debbie and I went down to Texas Mist for the Leathernecks 338th Marines birthday party. It was a pretty relaxed affair, but we did get Some wonderful cake for the occasion, and they had a nice program that started with the 338th Marines Anniversary video prepared by the national Marines commander. It was very inspiring and a great start to the party. Next I was asked to give a moment of silence and opening prayer. Spud would normally have done this, but as he is in the hospital oat the moment having a heart operation, I was asked to fill in. My prayer was focused on asking for complete healing for Spud. Next we got some of that great cake, chocolate with whipped cream icing, my favorite. Then a little while later, they had the drawing for the door prizes. Beyond that we were just chill in’, and having some pleasant conversation. Here are the pics;
