Debbie and I had a leisurely morning and then headed out to the Wounded Vets benefit at Tonkawa Cycles in Rockdale being put on by the Valhalla Nomadic Lone Riders Motorcycle Association. We were invited by their president to come out for some of the best BBQ in Texas. Well, he wasn’t lying, it was really good, and quite inexpensive as well as $5 a plate with beans and slaw. Nothing to complain about except the portions were so big I am now miserably full.  We also participated in the raffle, and won a nice Texas A&M t-shirt. No comments all you Longhorns. The event was held at Tonkawa Cycles, right downtown in Rockdale. Nice place, kind of a cross between a motorcycle shop, a coffee house and an antique store. Something for everyone.
