Debbie and I went to Hanovers for their excellent burgers, and to deliver some candy eggs for the Easter Egg Hunt next weekend. Our only problem was we hadn’t built the eggs yet, so we assembled them there. While we were assembling our eggs, Max and Dina delivered some from the chapter, but we somehow missed seeing them. Oh well, next time.
WE had a really good COC&I meeting at Hanovers this afternoon. There were several really good speaker that emphasized how important it is that we each are registered to vote, so we can exercise our civic duty to vote for elected officials that will support our lifestyle. Now that might sound kind of selfish, but if you think about it for a minute, you will realize that is exactly what our representatives in government are supposed to reelected to do, that is make decisions that will be consistent with the will of their constituency (that would be US). Ok, I will get off my soap box, now you can enjoy the pictures 🙂
We attended the Bandidos 46th Anniversary Party at Hanovers this afternoon. A party with friends, and free food. What a great combination. They were cooking burgers, and they were very good. I seem to be taking less pictures these days, for various reasons, but I think you will like the ones I got. Oh, Debbie contributed too, as did Companero Bobby with that first picture of Debbie and I. Enjoy;
My second activity today was at Hanovers for the Tornados 15th Anniversary Party. Apparently the cold windy weather didn’t have too much effect, because we had a good selection of clubs there. It was a very relaxed affair, with snacks, music and fellowship. Oh, and they did draw the raffle winner for the Home Defense Shotgun. I didn’t win but somebody did, they had to call him, and I think they got him out of bed, but they got a winner! Now, I’m off to bed.
We went to the Latin Steel benefit on this rainy day. I was a little concerned about how much participation they would get in such inclement weather, but i needn’t have been concerned,, as lots of people came out in support. As is their norm, Latin Steel served up some very good Taco Plates. I saw a post from Doris last evening, looking for 1000 taco shells, and I guess she found them cause there didn’t seem to be any shortage. Along with food, they also had a twice an hour raffle drawing, impromptu arm wresting, and though they couldn’t get the guys to come up and dance to the song YMCA, some of the women did volunteer. It was entertaining to say the least. Good people, and good fun.
Now, about the photos. I took the wrong camera for an indoor event, so I apologize that some of them are kind of blurry. I will try to do better next time.
