Well the place to be today was the Goal Post in RoundRock, for the Karibeños 3rd Annual party. I twas pretty well attended, and we had the usual from a rocking’ DJ, Carne Guisada with all the fixings was provided by DeeDee’s of Lago Vista, and it was really good. There were raffle, silencing auction, and not so silent auction. And of course to top it off, there was Sumo Wrestling. I posted a video in real time on Facebook, but my cell data connection was pretty poor, so the quality isn’t good but you can certainly get the idea. It was very entertaining. All in all, a pretty great party.
As Debbie and I were returning from the Memorial service in Humble Texas yesterday, we made a stop at the Karibenos MC annual party at the New Goal Post. I have to say Karibenos MC does host a pretty good party. I especially like the sumo wrestling, though it is not without it’s dangers even though the wrestlers are covered head to foot in foam rubber. Fortunately no-one was injured, and a great time was had by all. The BBQ sandwiches were good as well, and even included peach cobblers for desert. Five stars there! You just can’t go wrong with cobbler.
We went to the Colors (patching in) Ceremony put on by Karibenos MC this afternoon at the New Goal Post in Round Rock. It was well attended, with lot of clubs attending and several Karibenos MC chapters visiting for the occasion. I must say, it was pretty exciting and even emotional for many. Starting and growing an MC chapter is no small accomplishment. After the ceremony, we enjoyed the BBQed chicken plates which came with all the fixings and was very good. I hope you enjoy the photos;
