Bunny Run and Egg Hunt at Sam’s Town Point benefiting the Capital Area Food Bank

I went to the Bunny Run down at Sam’s Town Point this morning, and it was cooooold, at lest for me. I arrived around 10am, in time to assist with the spreading out of plastic eggs full of goodies for the kids. There is a nice multi-family owned private grass yard out back, and the five or six of us managed to pretty much cover all of it with prizes. The families with children started arriving at around 10:30, which was good, cause there is kind of limited parking.  As you can see from the photos, the kids had a great time, and the parents enjoyed pointing out eggs to their smaller children. Fortunately it warmed up some by start time, so we managed to avoid the whole people popsicle issue. It was all for a good cause, to benefit the Capital Area Food Bank.

      Hi Jdpan52,
      I don’t mind, but it looks like you posted a link to my main page, which is good for me, but will get superseded as I post additional entries.
      It might be better to post this link;
      https://tomzimmer.wordpress.com/2013/03/24/bunny-run-and-egg-hunt-at-sams-town-point-benefiting-the-capital-area-food-bank/
      Which is a direct link to the specific entry your readers will be interested in.
      Not a big deal either way though.
      Tom

    Thanks Tom. I’ll leave it as is for now as there’s some good stories that involve the local biker community as well and it might help you get more views… Thanks!
