Today we went to the Companeros 15th Anniversary Party at Sam’s Town Point. It was a very laid back affair, with $7 brisket plates for dinner, and lots of socializing. There may have been music inside, but I didn’t get inside much. Debbie and i spent all our time talking (and listening too). They had a good turnout, with anniversary tee shirts available for purchase. As you will see in one of the photos, we had the nearly new-born contingency (in papa’s secure hands), and lots of pretty bikes. We even met Scotty, a sort of wanderer who cam into town on his 1988 Electra Glide, fully packed for camping. I liked some of his stickers, so a few are added here. We had dinner, talked and headed home around 8pm for some relaxation in the air conditioning (not that it was that hot today). Enjoy!
