Our first event for today was the Hounds for Heroes benefit at VFW 8787 in Austin. They were raising money to buy and train PTSD trained service dogs for veterans. They had setup a ride, a silent auction and a dinner for this evening. Several of our New Life Riders chapter showed up to help provide the hospitality with coffee, donuts and very popular little wrapped sausages made by Louis and Candy. It was an all day event, so Debbie and I showed up early to help with preparations. I made the coffee, so everyone was wide awake. Debbie helped with setting up the table coverings and other odds and ends they needed done. Our shift ended at noon, so then we were off to the Companeros 19th Anniversary Party at Texas Mist. That will be next up, for now here at the photos from the VFW. Enjoy!
Ok,, I know y’all have nothing to do this weekend, so let me fix that for you. There are three activities this weekend, starting with the;
Hounds for Heroes 2nd annual benefit that raises funds to provide PTS service dogs for veterans at VFW Post 8787 north of Braker in the IH35 frontage. First bike out at 11am.
Next up is the Companeros MC 19th Anniversary Party at Texas Mist, noon to 6pm.
The last, but certainly not least event is the Crossroads MC Capital Patch Party at Hanovers in Pflugerville starting at 7pm.
Make one or make them all, and don’t say you don’t have anything to do Saturday.
