We attended the TMRA general membership meeting at the VFW this morning. Everything starts out with Don presenting the Sunday music and service at 10am, followed at 10:30 by the meeting. It was nice to see that TMRA is getting some additional support, particularly in Area F, our area. The Gypsys have stepped up, and we have a new Area VP, now held by Gypsy Neon. We should be having a local area F meeting in a month or so,. Y’all come on out and support TMRA.
We had our first TMRA (Texas Motorcycle Roadriders Association) meeting today at the VFW in Harker Heights. Don was presenting the Sunday service before the meeting so Debbie and I arrived plenty early. It turned out that there was some confusion about the start time, so everyone arrived in plenty of time for the service. After the service, we took a short break, and moved on the to the business of the meeting. We are approaching the State Rally, so there was lots of business to discuss. It seems that preparations are proceeding on track, so I will just move on to the pictures.
We had a called meeting of the Area F chapter of TMRA (Texas Motorcycle RoadRiders Association) to elect a new Area VP. Without going into any details, i will simply say that Steve Meeks was “re” elected. Some additional business was discussed, and the final picture is of a fellow Debbie and i encountered in the parking lot and invited to lunch with us and stay for the meeting. Ride Safe Jay!
Debbie and went up north for the TMRA (Texas Motorcycle Roadriders Association) October general membership meeting. We met at the VFW this month in Harker Heights. The VFW has a pretty nice facility, and the use of it saved TMRA a significant amount over our previous location. The only downside was that the VFW doesn’t open till noon, so we got kind of a late start and by the time it was over we were all ready to chew on a cow. After the meeting ended we went with Don and Susan to the local Cracker Barrel for some grub.
Today’s event was up to Belton to attend the TMRA (Texas Motorcycle Roadriders Association) General Membership Meeting. Don was giving a Sunday service before the meeting, so we arrived plenty early to attend. So early in fact Debbie got to take a ride on the kiddy merry-go-round. Can you say dizzy? The meeting went well and was attended by the usual groups. We are all looking forward to the TMRA State Rally in April 12-14 in Comanche Texas. It should be pretty good this year, as the city is assisting with some of the preparations and will be participating in the Bike Show judging. Area F (our area) will be putting on the Bike Games, and that should be fun too. I hope to see y’all there.
