Our first of two activities today began at 10am in Killeen at the VFW for the TMRA General membership meeting. It was very lightly attended, but hey there was enough of us to have a meeting, so we did, and Don gave a “mini” reading/devotional to start things out. Just a couple of pics, then we were off for some lunch with the Potters at Red Robin down in Cedar Park.
We headed up to VFW 3892 in Harker Heights for the TMRA (Texas Motorcycle Roadriders Association) General Membership meeting this morning. We got there plenty early, in fact even after everyone arrived, it turns out the VFW didn’t have us on the schedule, so it was all locked up. Fortunately there is a nice campground on the same property, with a great pavilion, so we had the Sunday service there with Don Potter providing music and a great message. After the service was over, we finally managed to get ahold of someone who could open up the building so we could have the meeting. Perfect timing, Service outdoors in the great weather, and business indoors. I recorded the sermon for your viewing pleasure; (By the way, it starts out a little dark because of the bright background, but I lightened it up after about 30 seconds or so) ๐
Debbie and I went to the TMRA General Membership meeting this morning, and got to hear Don sing and preach. It is always a joy. Unfortunately, we needed to leave shortly after the Sunday service finished, so we could attend the memorial service for Randy Culpepper down in Bastrop TX. Only a couple of pics, and maybe some video later. I will post the memorial photos shortly.
Debbie and I went up to Belton this morning for the Sunday service and TMRA General Membership Meeting at Dead Fish Grill on the lake. As usual, Don gave a great service. Then we had the meeting, and after the meeting we had lunch there at the Dead Fish Grill. I had the BBQ Burger, which was pretty good. Before the Sunday service started, we got a chance to play on the kiddy spin around thing, and I got some good shots of Debbie playing. I’ll just include one to give you a sense of ย what Debbie play is like ๐
