We had out December chapter meeting this evening, and of course God added some excitement by making it snow. We haven’t had snore in Austin in a while, so it was pretty exciting as you can see from the photos. After the meeting Debbie suggested we head to the park for some shots of the soccer field covered with snow. When we arrived, there were a few people building a snowman, so I took their picture and a couple of other shots for next year’s Wells Branch calendar competition.
Tonight we had out monthly chapter meeting at IHOP. I always look forward to the meeting, because (in addition to the usual reasons, like fellowship) I get to have some kind of special pancake thing. Tonight I had their donut roll something.I can’t remember theme, but it was a cream filled pastry roll smothered in caramel sauce and sprinkled with a generous helping of crumbled bacon. RICH! Anyway, it was a good meeting, and they handed out our Run for the Son awards, I got a t-shirt. The only thing that would have made it better, is if Debbie was here, but she is still in California for another week or so. So, in an effort to get into some trouble, I went to Fry’s Electronics on the way home to look at all the latest gadgets. Unfortunately, I didn’t find anything I just had to have. Oh, one more thing. Louis has recently installed some rotary machine gun exhaust tips on hit Harley. They are definitely cool, they rotate and everything.

We had our chapter meeting this evening, and the pancake specials are incredible. I had the pecan peach pancakes with ice-cream topping. Oh, My! Ok, back to the meeting. It was a good meeting, and somehow I got voted the binky for managing to run away from all the motorcycles following me in heavy Houston traffic. I never went faster than 55MPH in a 65MPH zone. I guess it was my hot-rod electric assist car that did it. It certainly wasn’t my driving 🙂 Pictures at 11.
