We started out with the kiddy egg hunt at Patterson Neighborhood Park. We wanted all the kids that showed up to have a great time, so snacks and juice boxes were provided, along with candy inside eggs of course. We got help from a bunch of the clubs to provide and distribute eggs at the park before the kids arrived. Patterson has a huge grassy area and lots of trees as well, so there were plenty of places to hide eggs. Once the kids got started though, I don’t think they had any trouble filling their bags with candy eggs. Everyone seemed to have a great time. Oh, and did I mention that we got one of our Companeros to wear the Bunny suit. The kids loved him! After all the hunting, we headed off to Texas Mist for some relaxation time and hot dogs before heading home.
