We attended the Austin Bandidos 47 year anniversary party after church today. It was very well attended, and a very relaxed event. The Roadhouse does have a kitchen and makes great burgers, but since there were so many people, they also brought in Rock Dawgz, a hot dog and burger truck. I had one of Rock Dawgz chili cheese burgers, and it was very good. On our way out we stopped to talk with the local Round Rock police officer that had been sent over to watch over things, and he was very cordial. I wished him a very peaceful afternoon.
We drove out to the Brushy Creek Bar this evening for Bandido Smokey’s 47th anniversary party. The bar is kind of out in the middle of no-where, but no-one seemed to have any trouble finding it cause there were lots of people there. While we share there, Roughstock RC asked me to take a picture of their entire club, with their banner. As you might imagine, shooting a portrait with limited lighting can be a serious challenge, but fortunately I brought a tripod, and they all managed to stand like statues so I could get a decent shot. Not bad really, no flash, just natural “flood” light 🙂
