We had the UCOA meeting for August tonight, and it looks like the event list is building now that August is almost over, so be sure to watch the UCOA events page at http://ucotexas.org for information on all that is happening. As you probably already know, Debbie wrote the Chaplains Moment for this evening, and we were planning for me to present it to the group, but she decided at the last minute that she should get over her “trepidation”, and give it herself. So, when it came that time, I called her up and she spoke to the group while I stood there and smiled. She did great. After she finished, I had to wait a while for all the applause to subside so I could give the closing prayer. Unfortunately I didn’t get any pictures of her speaking, cause she would probably of hit me if I tried 🙂 Another great meeting.
