We had a really good group at our August Christian Unity meeting tonight. Maybe it was because of the food, or maybe it was because a bunch of Christians just like to get together. Whatever the reason, we talked about the NCOM meeting coming up in November, J. W. Rock coming up in December, and of course the Summer Sizzle coming up this Saturday at Hanovers in Pflugerville.  Our fearless leader, Frank brought the Word, and we had a good discussion around 1 Timothy 4:8-13. I liked the part in verse 10 where it says “In fact this is why we work hard and struggle, because we have set out hope on the living God”, and after I tried to give my interpretation of that verse, someone said; “So you struggle to get out of God’s way”, and I said, yah, thats it!
