All the chaplains of the motorcycle clubs got together this evening at the IHOP down on Caesar Chavez for dinner, socializing, and last minute preparations for the COC&I State Rally down in San Antonio next month. All the Christian Unity chaplains will be serving breakfast on Saturday down at the rally, with the food being provided by Honor Bound, and coffee being provided by The San Antonio CMA chapter Alamo Apostles. This is shaping up to be a great rally, so y’all come yah hear! Don was presented with his chaplains patches by Frank. Great meeting!
Well, here we are in March already, a quarter of the way through 2014. But, this being the first UCOA meeting of the year means that the riding year is just getting started for us. The weather is finally starting to warm up, so it is time to get my bike out and clean it up. I know, I hear y’all saying “you haven’t done that in a while Tom”, and you would be right. In some ways it feels like 2013 was kind of an off year for me. I didn’t even feel like riding much. Now though I’m looking forward to a great year. As they say, let the past be the past, and let the future start today. Together we can make this a great year. I know I am praying that God will bless us all with good health and safety especially on the road, with secure jobs so we can keep paying for those shiny two (and sometimes three) wheeled things sitting outside, and of course better relationships with our loved ones, and our brother and sister bikers. Yes it is going to be a good year.
Proverbs 3:5 says “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not depend on your own understanding.”
Lord we ask you to bless us, and help us to place our trust fully in You. AMEN
