Nobody can say we don’t party down in Wells Branch. First the was the parade, then our annual celebration at KF Park. We had food, great music, and some partyin” goin’ on. There was free water melon, face painting, a balloon artist, face drawing, bungee jumping for the kids (unfortunately I didn’t get any pictures), the pool was open, and there was even an egg hunt in the water for the little ones. Everyone had a wonderful and safe time.
The parade had a new route this year, probably to share the wealth, so more of the neighborhood could enjoy it. We camped out (not literally) a few blocks from home so we could be part of the excitement. Red, White and Blue were of course the prominent colors, and flags and floats galore. Here is but a few pics of the event.
