All across America, CMA has organized a day of prayer for our country, our leaders and for our CMA members and leaders. This year, we decided to go to the Capital downtown in Austin and pray on the grounds and in the buildings. Some of us met in the Carrabas parking lot next to Rudy’s, and headed down to the Capital around 1:30, and a we were met by others of our group there at the Capital. We walked over to the Capital and prayed in the shade (we actually had pretty nice weather today). Then some of us ventured through the metal detectors and into the building to visit “our house”, and prayed inside. Truly a beautiful building and a nice quiet place (on the weekend) to commune with God. Then later we went to Wahoo’s on South Congress for fish tacos, sandwiches and other stuff. Traffic getting there was painful, but the food was good. I hope you enjoy the pics.
