Ok, The remainder of Saturday is coming up, but I just had to post these. First the nice, sweet Tom and Debbie, and then the crazy Debbie and the terrified Tom. We were performing our security duties, and we just couldn’t resist having a bit of fun. Be sure to lcick on the second picture to get the full effect. Oh, yes, and many thanks to Clark Tractor for providing the tractor.
This group os from Friday, one of the road (we took the car), one at the hotel (we didn’t camp) and the remainder at the rally site. Many of the later ones were taken with the manual focus lens. As you can see, I was doing a bit better, but still not great. Early in the group, you get to see Don and Susan’s new bike. can you say Orange? And, I bet you never thought you would see me posing with dogs, but there it is. By the way, I am using smaller thumbnail images to get more on the page, but you can still click any image for a larger version. Enjoy! – next up Saturday, including the bike games. Woo Hoo! –
Debbie and I went to the TMRA (Texas Motorcycle Roadriders Association) State Rally in Comanche this weekend. I have a lot of photos to post, but I thought I would start with this collage of Debbie and Susan. It is special, and it is at the same time sad. Special, because they are having such a great time and you can tell, and sad because none of these photos was actually in focus. I was experimenting with an old Pentax manual focus lens, and as you might guess, I am having some real problems getting my subjects in focus. Darn these old eyes. So, even though they aren’t in focus, I had to post them, and I figued the best way was to make a collage that would convey the mood at least. So, I will try to do better, but I warn you that some of the photos coming up are not as sharp as my usual images. Anyway, much more to follow, and don’t worry, i didn’t use this lens for all of them, just some of the evening ones. As usual, click any image for a larger one.
